Why Solutionsurfers
why choose us as your Coaching School
Based in Lucerne, Switzerland, Solutionsurfers is the world’s leading company for Brief-Coach training.
Solutionsurfers was created by Peter Szabo who worked with Insoo Kim Berg, one of the founders of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), an evidence-based therapy. Together, Szabo and Kim Berg adapted SFBT protocols to Life Coaching and Executive Coaching.
Solutionsurfers has been delivering Brief-Coach trainings in Switzerland in different languages for 15 years now. Currently it runs trainings in Europe, Africa and Asia and in 2011 it has begun teaching this revolutionary way of coaching in California.
The intensive training program is delivered in 2 modules of 4 days each. Participants will learn how to use Solution-Focused protocols and tools in Brief-Coaching conversations. The most distinctive feature of the program is that the training itself is conducted using Solution-Focused methodology, offering participants a full-immersion in the SF innovative mindset by matching content with training delivery method.
Solutionsurfers is an ACTP (Accredited Coach Training Program) with the ICF (International Coach Federation). That means your hours of training with us count towards an ICF certification: the PURE program will give you enough training hours to apply for the ACC (Associate Certified Coach) certificate level with the ICF. Adding to PURE the PLUS and the PRO long-distance trainings led by Peter Szabo himself will give you enough hours to satisfy the ICF PCC (Professional Certified Coach) training requirements.
Join Solutionsurfers at the UC Clark Kerr Campus in Berkeley in 2011!

it is also the description of my approach: solution-focused.
Coaching: that is the tool I use to help clients...
