Be Bold, Be Brief, Be Gone!
This was the credo of Maj. Megan McClung, USMC, fellow runner and warrior, KIA in Iraq on the 6th of December, 2006, RIP.
By using her motto, we want to honor her and keep her memory alive; for a video tribute, see

Besides, “Be Bold, Be Brief, Be Gone” summarizes my approach to coaching, by embodying my philosophy as a runner.
My coaching:
•  is focused on solutions, and you need to be bold to maintain focus on what matters and to keep it simple: be bold!
•  is focused on ways to re-activate your resources and potential, allowing you to cut to the chase; it is “laser – coaching”: be brief!
•  aims at helping you building solutions based on your strengths, so that they can be lasting solutions that are sustained by you: I can then be gone!

Losing an Illusion makes you wiser than finding a Truth
Coaching is: seeing solutions by clearing the fog of illusions (personal, cultural and pseudo-scientific).

You can’t do just one thing!
Coaching is: evaluating the impact of our actions on what is important to us and on who is important to us.

Let him that would move the world first move himself
Coaching is: changing relationships (how others respond to us) by changing how we behave, what we perceive and our attitudes towards others.

You should be very interested in the future;
there is where you gonna spend the rest of your life

Coaching is: gaining clarity on what our preferred future is and finding ways to make it real.

Nothing is alive that is not an individual
Coaching is: leveraging the clients’ unique talents, skills, and strengths.

In the province of mind, what one believes to be true either is true or becomes true
Coaching is: working on beliefs.

I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand
Coaching is: doing.

Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away
Coaching is: finding simple, elegant and self-sustainable solutions.
